Valentina Sampaio Is the First Transgender Model for Sports Illustrated

The New York Times

Making history isn’t always a good thing. Nevertheless, last Friday when Valentina Sampaio dressed up in a woman’s bikini and modeled for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, history was indeed made. This comes after SI made previous strides in their efforts to shock people when they placed “plus size” model and future type 2 diabetic, Ashley Graham, on its cover in 2016.

Obesity isn’t healthy and neither is a man dressing up like a woman. What this actually is, is an effort to normalize delusional thinking through abusive enabling. Trans Women are not women. They are men dressed as women. Anyone who says differently is lying or mentally ill. Saying this fact out loud is not an act of violence or an incitement to violence. Moreover, any effort to use science as proof that sex is malleable-is unsupported by any evidence. Unfortunately, this hasn’t stopped activist masquerading as scientist and journalist from claiming otherwise and attempting to destroy any and all who dissent.

Harry Potter author, JK Rowling, is currently battling an effort to cancel her. What was Rowling’s Crime?

If sex isn’t real, there’s no same-sex attraction. If sex isn’t real, the lived reality of women globally is erased. I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives. It isn’t hate to speak the truth.

- J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) June 6, 2020

This statement is obvious and should not be controversial, but since we live in an ever increasingly insane society, Rowling’s statement is considered hateful and harmful.

Of course crazy people saying things on Twitter is hardly proof of anything. So it’s important that people trot out celebrities to argue their point for them.

Yes. Trans women are women.

You may have noticed two things about these about the claims regarding transgenderism. First, they all appeal to emotion and second, they appeal to an authority. Both of these are common logical fallacies. The emotional appeal tries to win the argument not on facts, but by trying to elicit an emotion, in this case guilt and shame, in order to persuade someone. The appeal to an authority tries to negate the opposing argument by claiming the arguer lacks authority in the subject. These are fallacies because neither is proof of an argument being correct.

Here’s an example:

Person 1: 2+2=4.

Person 2: No it doesn’t. You’re wrong.

Person 1: No, you’re wrong! Telling me I’m wrong really hurts my feelings! How would you feel if someone told you were wrong?

Did Person 1 prove that 2+2=4? Obviously not. Person 1’s emotional state due to criticism-does not prove that 2+2=4.

Here’s another example:

Person 1: 2+2=4.

Person 2: No, it’s actually 5. You’re not mathematician, so you don’t even know what you’re talking about.

How does not being a mathematician prove Person 1’s argument is incorrect? It doesn’t. Furthermore even if Person 2 is a mathematician, that does not prove 2+2=5.

In order to prove that JK Rowling is wrong or Valentina Sampaio is a woman, and not a guy who dresses in women’s clothing, there needs to be objective evidence. That is to say, evidence that anyone can inspect and evaluate themselves. Since its quite popular for so called intellectuals, objective journalist, activist organizations, and celebrities to claim that Trans Women are women as a fact-maybe it’s worth examining the objective evidence for that claim.

The first question we need to answer is: What is a women? Websters Dictionary, defines a woman as:

That opens up two more questions. The first is: What is a female? The second is: What is a person? Back to the dictionary:

Female noun:

a: a female person : a woman or a girl

b: an individual of the sex that is typically capable of bearing young or producing eggs

Person:

HUMAN, INDIVIDUAL -sometimes used in combination especially by those who prefer to avoid man in compounds applicable to both sexes

According to the dictionary, a women is a female human that is typically capable of bearing young or producing eggs. That leads us to the next question: Are Trans Women typically capable of bearing young or producing eggs? Before I answer this, just so we are clear, lets define typical.

Typical:

combining or exhibiting the essential characteristics of a group

The specific question then becomes: Do trans woman combine or exhibit the essential characteristics of the capability of bearing young or producing eggs? Well let’s check the dictionary:

Trans Woman:

a woman who was identified as male at birth

Identified as a male at birth? Okay, what’s a male?

Male:

a: a male person : a man or a boy

b: an individual of the sex that is typically capable of producing small, usually motile gametes (such as sperm or spermatozoa) which fertilize the eggs of a female

So a male is a person, that is typically capable of producing sperm. This is confusing. How exactly are Trans Woman that are identified as male at birth- become humans who are no longer capable of producing sperm and are now capable of producing eggs and bearing young? Perhaps the trans community can explain it. Since the biggest organization for trans people is GLADD, let’s start there.

Transgender is a term used to describe people whose gender identity differs from the sex they were assigned at birth. Gender identity is a person’s internal, personal sense of being a man or a woman (or boy or girl.) For some people, their gender identity does not fit neatly into those two choices. For transgender people, the sex they were assigned at birth and their own internal gender identity do not match.

According to GLADD, transgender is a mental state, not a physical state. Therefore, by definition, a trans woman is not in fact-a woman. Then why do they keep insisting on beating us over the head that they are? Admittedly, I needed to search the web to find the answers to this.

The first thing I came across was an article titled, Debunking “Trans Women Are Not Women” Arguments. In it, author Julia Serano (man who claims to be a woman), tells us why biology isn’t what we think it is.

Claims that trans women are not women often rely on essentialist (and therefore incorrect) assumptions about biology. For instance, people might argue that trans women are not “genetically female,” despite the fact that we cannot readily ascertain anybody’s sex chromosomes. Indeed, most people have never even had their sex chromosomes examined, and those that do are sometimes surprised by the results.

So because we can’t see someones sex chromosomes with our eyes, that means a trans women is a women. Since most people never have their chromosomes checked, they might actually have a rare genetic condition. Therefore, biology doesn’t determine sex. Except that during pregnancy, woman often undergo maternal serum checks.

serum screening typically screens for just three common birth defects-Down syndrome, trisomy 18 and open neural tube defects-whereas NIPT can screen for many more defects, as well as fetal sex.

As it happens, biology does determine sex.

Since this guy is obviously making it up as he goes along, we should probably look for another argument. Maybe by someone with some education and expertise in the subject of biology. In an article in Harpers Bazaar, author Jennifer Wright, regurgitates the same tired accusations of trans woman being in danger if you say that aren’t actually women. However, she did link to a paper from a graduate student in biology that might actually have some objective scientific evidence.

Sex determination — the way we are “coded” into a biological sex — is complicated in and of itself. There are far more options than just “male” or “female,” and countless instances of species that can actually transition from one sex to another within a single lifetime. With most mammals, however, the majority of individuals are cisgender male or female; transgender individuals are estimated to comprise about 0.3% of the adult U.S. population.

I’m not sure what the point of comparing other species that can transition sexes to humans is. Especially when the author concedes that mammals, which humans are, don’t transition like other species and are generally male and female.

First and foremost, is gender identity genetic? It seems the answer is yes — though, as with most traits involving identity, there is some environmental influence.

Gender identity is genetic, expect for when there is environmental factors. Environmental factors such as claiming that humans can change sex by identifying with the one they choose? Wait, she said gender, not sex. Obviously she’s making a distinction between sex and gender. Silly me. Then what is gender pray tell?

Gender refers to the roles, behaviours, activities, attributes and opportunities that any society considers appropriate for girls and boys, and women and men. Gender interacts with, but is different from, the binary categories of biological sex

The World Health Organization

If gender is different than sex and refers to the roles that society considers appropriate for the binary sexes, how then, is gender biological?

Transgender women tend to have brain structures that resemble cisgender women, rather than cisgender men. Two sexually dimorphic (differing between men and women) areas of the brain are often compared between men and women. The bed nucleus of the stria terminalus (BSTc) and sexually dimorphic nucleus of transgender women are more similar to those of cisgender woman than to those of cisgender men, suggesting that the general brain structure of these women is in keeping with their gender identity.

Oh great. More word tricks. Men who have a certain area of the brain that “resembles” a biological women, is not the same as having an “identical” area. It certainly doesn’t suggest that the general brain structure is that of woman. If anything, since the transgender population is 0.3% of the total population-it is more likely that this area of the brain is abnormal in these individuals. Furthermore, are we expected to discount sex chromosomes and physical characteristics in favor of an area of the brain that merely resembles the opposite sex? Because I was under the impression that Harvard was a school for adults.

The author ends this “science paper” with the very scientific, “if you question what I’m telling you, your harming people” routine.

And so, while the list of causes for transgender identity continues to grow, it has become quite clear that it is not a conscious choice — similar to what has been described for the “reasons” behind sexual orientation. Still, at least 63% of transgender individuals experience debilitating acts of discrimination on a regular basis, including incarceration, homelessness, and physical assault. When about 1.7% of the population is in some way affected by cases of ambiguous genitalia at birth, these findings seem staggering.

How exactly does pointing out that you aren’t what you think you are, cause physical assaults and homelessness? Shouldn’t those numbers be way down with this anti-science push to normalize it. After all, there’s a Trans Woman on the cover of the SI Swimsuit edition.

Notice the 1.7% of the population that has ambiguous genitalia, statement. That means, 98.3% of humans are either male or female. In other words, the exception proves the rule. Unfortunately, you see this sort mental tap dancing quite a bit.

Findom earle IBS rights is exactly right. Not all biologically born women can menstruate, but you know who doesn’t menstruate- ever? Biologically born male humans.

The truth is this. Transgenderism is not science, it’s religion. Saying a trans woman is a woman is not rooted in any sort of objective evidence. In fact, all the evidence directly contradicts the claim. Rather, it’s simply a bunch of religious zealots screaming dogma at anyone who questions what they believe. Unfortunately for them, no amount screaming is going to change that Valentina Sampaio is a woman in the same way Feinkl is Heinhorn.
